Terms
Last updated October 24, 2026
WingWatch is in a free beta. By using the display you agree to these terms. They'll get longer when WingWatch starts charging, and this page will say so.
What it is
A screen that shows the planes over a place you choose, using public flight-tracking data. It's for looking at, not for anything that matters: never use it for navigation, safety, or to decide when to leave for the airport. Check the airline for times that count.
The data can be wrong
Positions come from volunteer receivers and can be late, missing or off. Routes come from schedules and, for some flights, from FlightAware, and can still be wrong; that's why some say “Unconfirmed route” or “Route unknown”. WingWatch is provided as it is, without any promise that it's accurate, complete or always available.
The beta
The beta is by invitation. Please don't share your invite link. Use the display for yourself, at home or on your own screens, not to sell or resell. Features may change or stop, the beta may end, and we may turn off a display that's misusing the service, such as one sending automated requests.
Your data
What leaves your browser and what we keep is on the privacy page. The map and flight data belong to the people credited on the credits page.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we're not liable for any loss from using WingWatch or from its data being wrong or unavailable.
